A full acre in the Briarpatch neighborhood of northwest Austin, with direct greenbelt frontage and sweeping Hill Country views. Five bedrooms and nine real beds sleep up to 14 across 3,734 square feet — two living rooms, a breakfast room, and a formal dining room, so a large group can spread out instead of stacking into one space.
This is a destination rather than a stopover. There are no comparable rentals within five miles, no traffic noise, and nothing between the back of the property and the greenbelt. It was built for family reunions, small corporate offsites, wellness retreats, and groups who came to be outside together.
The grounds do most of the work: upper and lower decks, stone patios, gazebos, three picnic tables, heritage oaks, and a fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs. Inside, a gourmet kitchen with quartz counters, a gas range, and a convection oven makes cooking for a crowd genuinely pleasant, and reverse-osmosis drinking water plus a whole-house softener means every tap and shower runs soft.

Where you'll stay.
The house sits in a quiet residential pocket of northwest Austin wrapped in Balcones Canyonlands preserve land. There is no lake or waterfront access on the property itself — the greenbelt is the backyard, and the water is a short drive.
- Emma Long Metropolitan Park — on the same City Park Road you drive in on. Boat ramps, a designated swim beach on Lake Austin, and picnic grounds.
- Turkey Creek Trail — a shaded 2.5-mile loop with creek crossings, and the one preserve trail in Austin where dogs are allowed off leash.
- Ski Shores Cafe — a lakefront Austin institution since 1954, with a deck, weekend live music and a kids' play area.
- Commons Ford Ranch — genuine Lake Austin access and an easy loop trail with a waterfall.
- Bull Creek District Park — limestone creek swimming holes.
- St. Edward's Park — easy hill trails off Spicewood Springs.
The fine print, kept simple.
Check-in: 4:00 PM — Check-out: 10:00 AM
Maximum occupancy is 14 guests. No parties or events, no smoking, no pets.
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM — sound carries over the greenbelt.
The fire pit and indoor fireplace are for supervised use only, and must be fully extinguished before bed or departure.
The interior stairs are steep; please supervise young children closely.
The tree house visible from the property belongs to the neighbouring lot and is not part of this rental.

We're a small team based in Texas. We handle every booking ourselves — cleaning, guest care, the welcome note, the directions to the best Hill Country coffee. A portion of every night you stay supports a church-planting family abroad.
Quick answers.
How many guests does it sleep?
Up to 14, across 9 beds in 5 bedrooms.
Is this on the lake?
No. The home has direct greenbelt frontage, not waterfront. There is no dock or lake access on the property. Emma Long Metropolitan Park, with a swim beach on Lake Austin, is a short drive away.
Is the tree house next door part of the rental?
No — it belongs to the neighbouring lot and is not accessible to guests. We mention it up front so it is never a surprise.
Is there a hot tub?
Not yet. One has been ordered and we will add it here once it is installed and ready for guests.
Do you allow pets?
No pets at this property.
Is it good for a group or offsite?
Yes — two living rooms, a breakfast room, a formal dining room and a full acre of outdoor space give a large group room to gather and to scatter.
Will I need a car?
Yes. This is a secluded location at the end of a cul-de-sac and rideshare is slow out here. There is a long private driveway plus EV charging on site.
