A Farmhouse Family Getaway with Wiffleball Field

'My family and I traveled to the area for weekend retreat and conference in Longview. We had early mornings and late evenings between conference sessions and would thoroughly enjoy coming back to the farmhouse to retreat because of how beautiful, peaceful the space and area is. Brandon and Kristi put a lot of thought and love into this house! There were great travel guides, recommendations, and instructions beautifully staged throughout the home! All rooms were spacious, fully stocked with clean linens and really comfortable bedding. I really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with essentials such as cookware, plastic ware and ziplock bags which saved me from having to make multiple trips to the store as the local stores are about 12 minutes or more away. Checking in and out was seamless with this host family! They were really personable, responsive and attentive to any need we had during our stay.'

'We highly recommend the Farmhouse! We came for our sons graduation from Letourneau University. It was an easy drive to and from the campus. The location is secluded and quiet, and the house is comfortable, cutely decorated, and clean. Brandon was very attentive, made sure our stay was comfortable, and was easy to contact if needed. The wiffle ball field, and the fire pit made for some great memories and photos. Sitting out at the fire pit in the morning enjoying a cup of coffee while bird watching with the family was a lot of fun. The hammocks were so cool! The drive to the house was beautiful.'

'The Farmhouse was perfect for our stay! Spacious, comfortable, and clean. It is so cutely decorated and set up nicely! So many thoughtful touches inside and outside! A treat basket was waiting upon arrival, full of fun snacks and candies. A coffee bar set up with various coffees, teas, and filtered water was well used each morning. A fully stocked kitchen allowed us to prep meals easily. Bed was super comfortable with extra pillows and blankets. Loved relaxing in the living room in the evenings, with plush sofas, electric fireplace, and a big screen tv.'

'The property is as described. Tons of activities, games and recreational opportunities, including a regulation whiffleball field with fences and everything for a game. Property is remote, about 15 minutes outside of Kilgore, and within a few miles of the GGG airport. Have done airbnb for decades and dozens of stays. Never had a host more conscientious or responsive than Brandon. Proactive, checks in to see if more supplies needed, etc. Quickly changed the propane tank when it ran out. Overall, a great stay.'
