The Woodsman began as a stand of white pine on a ten-acre ridge near Big South Fork. Those trees were milled on the land and built back up into a cabin — so the place you're staying is, quite literally, the forest reassembled around you. A writer's retreat for two: a queen bed in luxury linens, a writer's kit of quills and ink, an apothecary bar, a sauna and outdoor shower, and a full-view glass garage door that lifts the whole forest into the room. ~10 minutes to Big South Fork.
