What Mica's Is

Mica's opened in 2025 — a family business run by siblings and their children — at 4507 E Martin Luther King Jr Blvd near MLK and Springdale in East Austin. The concept is simple: fresh Tex-Mex burritos and specialty coffee, served fast through a drive-thru, walk-up window, or curbside pickup. Ten burrito varieties from vegan to cheesesteak to migas. A proper coffee bar with cold brew, cappuccinos, and lattes alongside the food.

The Burritos

East Austin needed this. The burrito gap on the East Side has been real — great tacos everywhere, great breakfast all over the map, but a proper burrito spot built for the neighborhood has been harder to find. Mica's fills it. The Spicy Mexican Burrito is the one to start with if you're not sure where to begin; the Texano is the vegetarian move. The chilaquiles are also worth your attention.

Fast and Friendly

The service is genuinely fast and the staff is friendly in a way that feels natural rather than trained. For guests staying at our East Austin property, this is a 5-minute drive and a very good way to start a morning before exploring the city. Order online ahead if you're in a hurry — curbside pickup is seamless.

They're open Wednesday through Monday, 7 AM to 2 PM. Closed Tuesdays.
